CWLL Divisions

Junior

The new Junior division is an opportunity for 13-14 year old children to continue to participate in Little League.  These games are played on longer base paths and a deep pitching mound than the Suited division.

At this time, details are still being worked out for this new opportunity.  After registration, details regarding schedules and volunteer opportunities will be communicated!

Majors (Formally Suited)

The Suited Division (also known as the Majors Division) is open to boys and girls Little League Age 12 - 10. The diamond in use has 60-foot bases and the pitching distance is 46-feet.

Teams in the Suited division have rosters up to 13 players (usually 11-12 players). Each team will be scheduled to play 2 games per week against teams in CULL. CULL is comprised of teams from CWLL, CELL, Urbana and First String. At the end of the regular season, all suited teams are seeded into the Twin-City tournament which lasts for two weeks to determine the champion of CULL.

Each year CWLL creates a Tournament Team ("All-Star" Team) of players age 12 - 11 years old that participate in the District tournament. Players are nominated by their coaches to participate on this team. If selected, players will need to confirm that they will be available for practices and games. These games usually begin end of June and could go into July.

Teams in the Farm Division have rosters up to 15 players (usually 11-13 players). Each team will be scheduled to play 2 games per week against teams in CULL. These All-Star teams will compete in a weekend tournament that determines which league is the CULL Farm City-Wide champions.

Each year CWLL may create Tournament Teams ("All-Star" Teams) of players age 11-10 and 10-9 years old that participate in the District tournament (teams subject to numbers of players).
