FALL BASEBALL:

Every year Champaign West Little League hosts a short fall season of baseball which is available to children in the Champaign/Urbana/Mahomet region and beyond.  There are no tournaments, no player assessments and no reason to worry when you register for the Fall!  After team selection, there are 2-3 weeks of practices followed by a short 5 week season and is purely a chance to keep kids playing baseball for the love of the game.  This is an excellent opportunity to try baseball for the first time, to continue playing while the weather is still nice, and also a chance to possibly try a higher division in our league, especially if your child will transition up the following spring.  Little league age for the following Spring season will determine your players LL age in the Fall.

There are no Little League boundaries present in the Fall so it doesn't matter where you live or go to school, just come out and play. When you are registering and are normally outside Champaign West boundaries, instead of selecting to register under home or school address, select "none" and you will be good to go! 

Similar to the Spring season, our practice days and times are determined by our volunteer coaches.  Therefore, we will not have a schedule for practices or games until after our team drafts.  As soon as we have a schedule, you will too. 

Finally, our Major (Suited) draft takes place after school tryouts to allow players to register late.  If the school ball doesn't work out, we will be waiting for you!
