Over the last few months, BPW has kept in touch with our current active families through our coaches, website, and Facebook page as we moved through the challenges and uncertainty of dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic from a community and youth sports organization standpoint.  As we now start to approach what would be the regular season, it is very important that we increase the level of communication.  Based on the latest guidelines released from the CDC, National Pop Warner, and State and Town governments, we do plan to have football (tackle and flag) and cheer for the fall season (as a reminder, tackle and cheer traditionally start August 1), but there will be modifications.   This Friday the Governor's daily address will cover Phase 3 and Sports; also, National Pop Warner will be releasing additional information shortly on how we can proceed with our planned seasons (which must align with State guidelines).  Based on this, we will get back to you with additional information, but as of today, we are planning our season knowing there will be some modifications.    We want you to know that Registration is currently open for Cheer and Tackle football and our EARLY BIRD special is in effect until the end of this month!  Please register now to take advantage of it.  We will have a season, if it is modified to the extent that the cost of registration is modified, we will make sure you receive an adjustment.  It is best to register now, so we can anticipate the size of teams for planning purposes with the state requirements – so if you are going to register, please do so now and take advantage of the Early Bird special.
