The "positive choice" for USA Softball in Henderson, Nevada

• HGSA is a well established league (1991) comprised of caring and dedicated volunteers. We are a 100% non-profit organization.
• HGSA is open to all girls 4 - 18 years old residing in Clark County (including Las Vegas and Henderson). All skill levels are welcome.
• All games are played on well maintained Henderson Parks and Recreation Department softball fields and are scheduled prior to the beginning of the season.
• HGSA is an USA Softball certified league and conforms to USA Softball rules and regulations; the very same rules and regulations used by most tournament class softball associations, paving the way for the possibility of travel ball, high school ball, or even college ball.
• HGSA provides uniforms, insurance, and USA Softball registration at no extra cost.
• HGSA offers a sibling discount: 1 child: $175, 2 children: $325, 3 children: $475. Payment arrangements can also be made with a 50% deposit required.  Registration fee for 6u - $150

WHAT WE DO:

1) First and foremost; HGSA is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, PRIVATE entity that was created to provide a venue for USA Softball style girls fastpitch softball.

2) We are a private entity that you are paying a fee for, to allow your child/children to participate as players in our USA Softball style girls fastpitch softball league.

PERTINENT FACTS:

1) We are NOT a city, state, or government entity, we ARE NOT supported by tax dollars in any way.

2) We CONTRACT with (pay) the City of Henderson for our fields, field preparation and lights.

3) WE CONTRACT with (pay) USA Softball Umpires for our officiating.

WHAT WE DO NOT:

1) Provide ANY child care services, areas or amenities or insurance for non-player siblings.

2) Have anything to do with the concessions at the fields; (City of Henderson contracts this out to others).
