FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM INFORMATION               COST: $175

 

Our Flag Football program is designed for boys and girls ages 5-9.

 

Flag "Cubs" teams will consist of 5-7 year olds (born between 8/1/2009 and 7/31/2012 and 7 year olds weighing <60 lbs), and “Bobcat” teams will consist of  7-9 year olds (born between 8/1/2007 and 7/31/2010 with those 7 year olds weighing > 60 lbs. 

Flag teams play in our House League with other Radnor Young Raider Flag teams and will also play games with Conestoga Generals and Upper Merion Vikings flag teams.

Flag practices will begin August 23, 2017 at Pike Field (RHS).  Practices are normally held two nights a week. The flag teams play an 8-10 game season beginning in September.  All games are on weekends.  The games are played with each team putting 7 players on the field at once (7 on 7) with team rosters ranging between 10 to 14 players. All flag teams follow Pop Warner Flag rules.

 

The main objective of the flag football program is to have fun!  Parents coach the children and volunteers are always needed.

Please note that our Tackle Football program is also available for players who are 7 years old by July 31, 2017.
