Coach Robert grew up playing his early years of soccer in Rotterdam, Netherlands due to having a father who served in the United states Army. Upon his return back to the united States, He played 3 years of Varsity soccer at Fayetteville Christian School and spent his Senior year at Lee Christian School where he collected ESPN Player of the Week. Coach Robert, played in various nation wide tournaments with Fayetteville Force collection a state and regional title before losing in Nationals. He was a standout player for 1 year at Cape Fear Community College and 2 years at Guilford College collecting many awards. Coach Robert also had the opportunity to play in the National Premier Soccer League with Carolina Dynamo during his time at Guilford College.
