David started playing soccer when he was 2 years old. He remembers growing up he would play with his brother and his friends! As he grew up he played for different teams. My first club team was called River Plate- La fortaleza. he joined when he was 8. he played there until he was 14. At 14. During his time there, he won different championships and got called for trials with “selección Bogota” (which would be like the state team). After a long 7 years at that club, he decided to practice on his own for a year and at 15 he got called back from that team to play the state league as he was doing in past years. Did that for 1 year and at 16 he did trials for “Millonarios F.C U17” and he passed. Played the national tournament that year, finishing up 6th in the nation with his team and the next year he played U20s. he didn’t play that much on the U20s so he decided to come to America and play collegiate soccer. he got recruited by Averett University. In his 3 years there, he finished as top scorer all three years. My first season he got all conference honorable mention, his second year he got: all conference first team and all state second team and his third year he got all conference first team and all state first team as well as Jewish All-American. Also, the summer of 2017, he competed on the Maccabiah Games, representing Colombia!
