Volunteer
At Land Park Pacific Little League, we are a community built on teamwork, dedication, and the shared goal of creating memorable experiences for our players. Volunteering is vital to our league’s success, helping us provide high-quality events, maintain our fields, and ensure an enjoyable season for every family.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering is an essential part of keeping our league running smoothly. By giving your time, you help us:
- Support engaging events like Opening Day, Pancake Breakfast, Movie on the Mound, and Hit-a-thon.
- Maintain safe and beautiful fields through clean-up and improvement days.
- Offer a great experience during post-season tournaments.
- Operate our snack shack, which funds many of our league activities.
Your efforts directly impact the quality of the experience for every player and family in the league. Plus, volunteering is a great way to meet other families, build friendships, and show your support for the community.
Volunteer Fee and Reimbursement
Each family pays a $125 volunteer fee per year (not per player). This fee is reimbursed upon the completion of 6 hours of volunteer work during the season.
How You Can Help
There are many opportunities to get involved, including:
- Assisting with league events: Opening Day, Pancake Breakfast, Movie on the Mound, and Hit-a-thon.
- Participating in field clean-up or improvement days.
- Supporting post-season tournaments.
- Staffing snack shack shifts.
Every hour you spend volunteering strengthens our league and ensures a fantastic experience for our players.
Named Volunteer Positions
If you serve in one of the following positions during the season, you will be considered to have fully met your volunteer hours and eligible for fee reimbursement as the role requires more than the 6 hours required. Positions may be contingent on fulfilling certain requirements to be considered eligible for fee reimbursement.
