2022 Fundraising Campaign

Dear Valley East Family,

Our league fundraiser serves as an integral part of our annual budget. It allows us to keep our lights on, our registration fees as low as possible, and most importantly, allows us to put forth the best program possible for the benefit of our community’s children.

Putting forth the best possible program takes a significant amount of planning and budgeting to make ends meet. As a 501C3 non-profit organization that is run by a team of unpaid volunteers, we are incredibly careful with every dollar we spend and appreciative of every dollar we bring in to meet our financial obligations. Some of those obligations include uniforms, team equipment, supplies, umpire fees, insurance, charter fees, field and grounds maintenance, and many other miscellaneous expenses.

Consequently, there is a very large financial gap that we must make up every season to stay in the positive. The three major sources of income that we rely heavily upon are sponsorships, our concession sales, and our annual league fundraiser. Without these three sources of income, we would not be able to do what we do and have been doing continuously since 1953.

For our 2022 fundraising campaign, we will be conducting a gift card raffle. Tickets will be priced at $10.00 each. For this raffle, Valley East Little League will be purchasing a total of 150 gift cards for various businesses, to include local and national businesses, for the amount of $25.00 each. We will be selecting 5 winners during our Opening Day Ceremonies.

  • 1st Prize: $1,250 in gift cards
  • 2nd Prize: $1,000 in gift cards
  • 3rd Prize: $750 in gift cards
  • 4th Prize: $500 in gift cards
  • 5th Prize: $250 in gift cards

We are asking all players to sell a minimum of 10 raffle tickets, but feel free to sell as many as possible as we will be offering rewards for the top three sellers in our league.

  • 1st place - $250 in gift cards
  • 2nd place - $150 in gift cards
  • 3rd place - $100 in gift cards

For those families with multiple children in our league, we are asking that your children sell a total of 15 raffle tickets regardless of the number of players.

Tickets can be picked up during our in-person registration on Saturday, February 12th from 9:00am – 12:00pm, Saturday, February 26th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm or at any of our scheduled clinics at the HARP center.

Please return all money, ticket stubs, and any unsold tickets to your Team Mom, Coach or any Board Member by Saturday, April 16th.
