Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required federal background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members and other volunteer positions within the league.

Volunteer applications can be found under the 'Forms' section to the right. No volunteer will be allowed to perform any duties, including stepping onto the field or interacting with players, until their volunteer application has been submitted. This policy will be strictly enforced, with no exceptions.

Volunteer applications can be submitted in person to the league President, or e-mailed to [email protected]. Once the league has received your application and processes it, you will receive an email from "VALLEY EAST LITTLE LEAGUE <[email protected]>" to complete your background check.
