District 33 is proud to host a free Coaches Clinic and Safety Clinic for everyone in District 33. Both clinics will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 on the Serra Mesa Little League Baseball Junior Field #1. Located at Cabrillo Heights Park, 8308 Hurlbut St. San Diego, CA 92123. Both clinics meet the clinic requirements for District 33 tournament play. The Coaches Clinic is scheduled for 9:00am to 12:00pm and the Safety Clinic for 12:15pm to 1:00pm.
Coaches Clinic - Mike Pieratt will lead the coaches clinic and provide an opportunity to learn proper coaching techniques as we head into the 2023 Spring Baseball season. Mike and his staff have been mentoring and teaching coaches for over 30+ years at various levels. Mike and his All-Star staff has over 1,000 high school wins between them. They’re looking forward to working with you at this year’s District 33 coaching clinic. Don’t want to miss it.
Safety Clinic - Stephen Seefeldt, District 33 Safety Officer, will be presenting a safety clinic at the conclusion of the coaching clinic for all those who are in attendance. Important information will be covered that you should know before starting the 2023 season. Some of the topics that Stephen will covered will be evaluating injuries, Initial treatment of injuries, basis first aid and concussions protocol.
You must sign in at the clinic to get credit for attending any District and League approved clinics. Your name on the sign in sheets will be proof that you attended a clinic and are eligible to participate in District 33 tournament play. We have provided a clinic pre-registration link that can help with the sign in process at the field.
