Hello MCLL Families and Friends!
Murphy Canyon Little League welcomes all players from league age 4 to 12 years old to join us in the 2023 Fall Baseball Season.
Fall Ball is a great opportunity to focus on the fundamentals and increase each player's skill set in preparation for the 2024 Spring Baseball Season. Fall Ball has a relaxed schedule that consists of 1 or 2 practices a week and a single game on Sunday afternoon from September 10th to November 19, 2023.
Fall Ball 2023 Important Dates:
Mid-August players will be assigned to teams and will practice 3 to 4 weeks prior to the first game. First game will be held September 10th and will run through November 19th.
Regular registration closes on July 25th, and late registration will close on August 7th, 2023 (late fees will be assessed after July 25th).
Game & Practices:
Each team will have a single game per week starting September 10th on Sunday after 12:00pm at Murphy Canyon Little League's fields or a neighboring league's field. Games will end on November 19th.
Practices will be determined by each team coach and approved by the Board of Directors, but are typically held once or twice a week (age dependent).
Uniforms & Equipment:
Registration covers the cost of a jersey, hat, socks, and belt for each registered player. Players will need to provide their own glove and purchase game day baseball pants (color determined by team). Some players choose to use their own batting helmets and bats, but the league will provide bats and helmets as needed. Cleats are strongly recommended to increase traction and reduce the risk of injuries. NO METAL CLEATS will be worn, any plastic or rubber cleats will work.
Volunteers:
Murphy Canyon Little League consist of active duty military members, dependents, and family members. We are a non-profit organization that is ran entirely by volunteers. In order for each season to be successful, we rely on volunteer coaches, managers, and umpires. If you are interested in volunteering, please register as a volunteer during the registration processes. If an adult/family member volunteers in an official capacity throughout the season, the non-volunteer fee will be returned to the family at the completion of the season (at minimum of 8 hours required).
Pricing:
Registration cost for TBall/ Rookies and CAPS is $95.00 from June 15th through July 25th.
Registration cost for Minors and Majors is $125.00 from June 15th through July 25th.
***Late registration will go from July 25th to August 7th 2023. Registration after July 25th will incur a late fee of $30.00 per player.***
