GAME Format
What does this mean for your player?
- u6 intstructional will be playing 4 v 4 - size 3 ball (without goalies).
- u8 passers will be playing 7 v 7 - size 3 ball, on a traditional passers sized field (with goalies).
- u10 wings will be playing 7 v 7 - size 4 ball, on a traditional passers sized field.
- u12 strikers will be playing 9 v 9 - size 4 ball on a traditional wings sized field.
- u14 kickers will be playing 11 v 11** - size 5 ball on a traditional kickers sized field.
- u8 and u10 games will be played on fields with build out lines. These lines designate how far back offensive players need to move back once the goal keeper has possession of the ball or a free kick from the defense within that area. What does it mean for parents of players and referees?
- Please be patient and supportive of the players and referees while we learn the new rules. Please work with your local district rep for clarification or to offer help on teaching the new rules for all parties involved, we love your support in any way possible!
