Rebels Youth Athletics Association Scholarship
The Rebel Youth Athletic Association is proud to be giving away (2) $500.00 scholarships to
qualifying high school seniors continuing their education. If additional funds are available there
may be more scholarships awarded at increments of $250.00 up to $500.00 each depending on
available funds and the number of students that apply.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must have been involved with the Rebels Youth Athletics
organization (RYA) in one of the following ways: a player, a scorekeeper, a referee, volunteer,
or a coach.
Your application MUST include the following information:
1. Full name, address, and phone number;
2. TWO letters of recommendation from a teacher, family member, supervisor, etc.;
3. A short essay about your involvement with Rebels Youth Athletics organization. The
following subjects should be included in your essay:
a. Why you believe you benefited from participating in the Rebels Youth Athletics
organization and what you feel this organization has done for the community;
b. Your plans for the future;
c. Why you believe this scholarship should be awarded to you;
4. List of activities you are currently involved in;
5. List of honors and awards you have received throughout your high school career.

Recipients will be awarded at the Senior night; and or via email and mail by June 1 st if attending

another school district other than RE3J.

It is an honor to be able to give something back to the kids in our community. We appreciate
everyone who has helped make the Rebels Youth Athletics organization what it is. Thank you to
