PRIME TIME 6V6 SOCCER


Rules and General Information

 

1.      All 6v6 games will be played with 6 field players plus one goalkeeper for a total of 7 players on the field. 

 

2.      Each game consists of two 25 minute halves.

 

3.      All games will be played at Millward Park in Allen Park.

 

4.      Games are played on size appropriate fields for 6v6 plus a goalkeeper.

 

5.      Rosters may include up to 14 players, however only 12 players may participate/dress for each game. 12 t-shirts are provided, however additional t-shirts may be ordered in advance for $10.00 per shirt.

 

6.      Each team is guaranteed 8 Games – consisting of a 7 Game regular season, plus a single game elimination tournament at the conclusion of the regular season.  Each team qualifies for the tournament, and teams will be seeded based on their regular season records.

 

7.      Tournament dates and times will be provided in advance, but are dependent on the regular season results, and will consist of multiple dates, including weekends.

 

8.      Division kick-off times to be announced based on number of teams per division. All game times and dates are subject to change depending on registration. Anticipated game dates are as follows:

 

Monday Evenings (Game times will start at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, or 8:00 pm).

13 & under Co-ed

Women’s Open

Men’s Open

 

Wednesday Evenings (Game times will start at 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, or 8:00 pm).

High School Boys

Co-Ed Competitive

Co-Ed Recreational

 

Thursday Evenings – upon demand. 

           

9.    Co-Ed divisions must have 2 male and 2 female players on the field at all times.

 

10.  The 2018 Season will begin June 18, 2018. 

 

11.  Team entry fee is $650.00 per team (includes team t-shirts) and must be paid in full at the first game.   If paying by check, make checks payable to PRIME TIME.

 

12.  Game Play – will follow FIFA rules, with the following modifications:

 

A.    No Offside

B.    No Slide Tackling

C.    Substitutions on dead balls at the referee’s discretion

D.    All Goal Kicks are taken from the end line and must be touched by a player before crossing the halfway line (or an indirect kick is given)

E.    A player who receives a yellow card must be removed from the game for a minimum of five minutes (he may be substituted)

F.    All Games must have a winner

G.    If the game is tied at the conclusion of the second half, one 5 minute (Golden Goal) overtime time period will be played.

H.    If tied after overtime, then penalty kicks will be used to determine a winner with 3 shooters (not 5) being selected from each team. 

 

13.  A player may participate on multiple teams; however, no player may participate on two teams in the same division for the tournament. 

 

14.  One Referee per game.  Each Referee will be the official timer and will be encouraged to remain on schedule so that all other games will begin on time.  All decisions of the referee are final.
