Mid-Cities Pee Wee Football & Cheerleading Association (MCPWFCA) has been servicing the HEB and surrounding communities for over 60 years. We are one of the nation’s longest running Non-Profit Youth Organization. All coaches and board members are volunteers and try to give back to the community as much as possible. Some of our coaches even grew up in the league themselves and have come back to coach.
Just to share a little bit about our league. We are a volunteer run organization. The MCPWFCA main goal is to impart the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect through instructions in the game of football and cheerleading. Our plan to reach our goal is by providing supervised competition, bearing in mind the attainment of exceptional skills and the winning of games is secondary. By doing this, our association is helping to shape and mold the future citizens of tomorrow.
Our football league has four different divisions: Junior Flag, Senior Flag, Junior Tackle and Senior Tackle. Their ages range from Pre-K to Sixth grade. All football participants learn the fundamentals of the game and even get to participate in Playoffs and a Super Bowl toward the end of their season.
Our cheerleading league has three different divisions: Senior Flag, Junior Tackle and Senior Tackle. Their ages range from Kindergarten to Seventh grade; however, we offer our younger cheerleaders who may not be in school yet the chance to be a Mascot of a cheer team. All cheer participants learn cheer fundamentals and even get to participate in a cheer competition called “Main Event” at the end of the season.
