Fall Season FAQ Football and Cheer When are practices?Jr Flag (Pre-K to K) FOOTBALL ONLY- Practice days and times are determined by the coach. Practices start the week of Labor Day. Jr Flag can practice 1 to 2 times a week (except for Wednesday) and are usually about an hour. Practice location is Central Jr High. All Flag teams practice on the same field.
Sr Flag- Practice days and times are determined by the coach. Practices start the week of Labor Day. Sr Flag practices 2 times a week (except for Wednesday) and are usually about an hour to an hour and a half. Practice location is Central Jr High. All Flag teams practice on the same field.
Jr Tackle and Sr Tackle- Practice days and times are determined by the coach. Practices start the week of Labor Day. Practice is 4 days/week and then drops to 3 days/week (except for Wednesday). Practices are usually an hour and a half – 2 hours. Practice location depends on the team.
When are games?When will I receive my child’s game schedule? All games for all ages will be on Saturdays between 9am and 2pm. Games are at Central Jr High except for Pennington games when scheduled. Your coach will distribute your team schedule some time during the 1 st week of practice.
What is the registration process? 1. From our website Log in or create an account to register
2. Choose the program and league you need (you will do this for each player)
3. Complete your info for each player and proceed to the payment
4. Come to In Person registration or schedule a cheer fitting.
A. For football each player will need to come in and be weighed. If tackle they will receive their equipment at this time as well. These dates will be
communicated via email each year, but take place in August.
B. For cheer each child will need to schedule a fitting. You will receive a confirmation email to sign up for one once registered.
When does the season start? When will I hear from my coach? We hold our draw the last weekend in August. Practices can start the week of August 26th, but some flag teams may not start till after labor day. Your coach will contact you by August 26th. Some coaches will reach out via email so be sure to be checking your inbox and spam folder.
Who can I contact with questions? We are an all-volunteer league so the best way to contact us is via email or Facebook messenger.
[email protected]Do you offer scholarships or payment plans? We do have opportunities available each year for scholarships that are communicated via email or Facebook. These are done through Every Kid Sports and usually open towards the end of July. We offer payment plans which are available when registering online.
Football What will my child need to purchase? What is provided?
Jr Flag (Pre-K to K) and Sr Flag (1 st -2 nd grade)- Players will need to purchase cleats, mouthpieces, and shorts (color will be determined by coach). We provide jerseys or game day shirts.
Jr Tackle (3 rd -4 th grade) and Sr Tackle (5 th -6 th grade)- Players will need to purchase cleats, mouthpieces, a practice jersey, and practice pants. We provide game day pants, helmets, pads, and game day jerseys. Coaches will give you info on game day socks.
Do you let friends play on the same team? How are teams determined? All teams are determined via a draw the last weekend in August.
Cheer What will my child need to purchase? What is provided?
With registration your child will get a shell and a skirt as well as a bow, bloomers and Pom Poms. The only thing that is returned to us at the end of the season is the actual uniform itself (shell & skirt). White cheer/tennis shoes are the only thing not provided and will need to be purchased.
Do you let friends play on the same team? How are teams determined? You can request a team, but it depends on uniform availability and when you signed up.
