North Austin Youth Football Association is one of the most established youth football programs in Central Texas.  The goal of NAYFA has been serving Central Texas youths and helping them become not just better players, but great people for our community. Teaching the youth players is an experienced and talented set of coaches.  NAYFA teams are led by coaches with experience in not only football, but coaching in many different sports throughout the year.  The coaching staffs are experienced in USA Football HeadsUp Programs. Our coaches are trained in the newest football coaching techniques, and all of them are trained in the latest safety techniques in football.   At NAYFA, there is an age division for everyone.  We have divisions from 5-6 year old up through 11-12 year old.  Your child will flourish and grow in this friendly, fun and safe environment.  They will learn so much about football, and will do it with new friends.  Become a part of one of the best football programs in Central Texas!   

MISSION STATEMENT

The North Austin Youth Football Association is a non-profit organization that offers an instructional football program for youth ages 4-12. NAYFA Football is dedicated to teaching the youth of our community the fundamentals and proper techniques of football. Our emphasis is on developing physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills in a positive and safe environment.  We strive to provide opportunities for all participants to develop individual skills and abilities while being a contributing member of a team.  It is important to NAYFA Football that we provide a way for our athletes to build lasting friendships, great memories, and have fun!

COACHING PHILOSOPHY


The coaches are dedicated to promoting the core values of NAYFA.  Wins and losses are not a priority for our coaches; developing life skills and individual character is what guides our coaching decisions and actions. Coaches are expected to lead by example in both words and actions on and off the football field.   Coaches accept responsibility of the development of our athletes as both players and persons while under their direction.  Our goal is to be an organization that not only develops Maverick football players that parents and coaches will be proud of, but also guide our athletes to becoming positive contributors to any team they choose to be a part of.
