PV Bruins Work Bond Program

2024-2025 Season

The PV Bruins Wrestling Club is a volunteer only organization, what that means is that our club cannot exist without volunteers to help keep it going. Our coaching staff and board are made up of 100% volunteers and it takes many hands to run a successful youth wrestling club. With that said our coaches and board members cannot do it alone. That is why our work bond program exists.

Each family is required to give a post-dated check for $150 as a work bond “deposit” to the club in order for their wrestler to participate. This check is post-dated for March 1, 2025 and held until the conclusion of the season. This is to give each family a little “incentive” to give their time to the team. We ask that each family earn work bond points throughout the season. Up to 2 of those points can be earned by donating goods and the other 4 needs to be earned by “working”. One (1) point is earned for each 1 hour shift that you “work”, unless otherwise noted. If a family chooses to, they may earn all of their points by “working”.*

There are many opportunities throughout the season to earn work bond points. Please see the list of opportunities below. Our club uses SignUp.com to organize our donations and volunteer hours. The week prior to each event you will receive an email with the SignUp.com link for that event. You will use that link to sign up for any goods you choose to donate and/or the times and jobs you would like to volunteer for.

Also, volunteers can be anyone! They do not have to be Mom and/or Dad…. They can be aunts, cousins, grandparents, neighbors….simply anyone that is willing and able to step up and volunteer their time in your family’s name. *Children under 16 years of age are not allowed to help in the concession stand.*

It is not the board’s goal to cash your work bond check, so please reach out to a board member if you have any questions or concerns. We need your help more than we need to keep your money!
