Divisions

Rio Vista Little League offers the following divisions:

Junior (13-14 years old)

Players being selected at the Junior level will be drafted from the Player Agent’s tryout list (the draft system will be in accordance with Plan “A” of the Little League Operation Manual).

Major Division (10-12 years old)

Players being selected for a Major Division team must be selected from the Player Agent’s list, which is comprised of all players who have tried out. A player that has not participated in an approved tryout cannot be selected for Major Division play. The draft system will follow Plan “A” of established Little League procedures. 9-years-olds are not eligible for Major division play.

Minor Division (8-10 years old)

Players will be selected for the Minor Division by a draft from the remaining pool of players at the completion of the Major Division draft. Draft sequence will be determined by lottery.

Farm Division (6-8 years old)

The Farm Division is an instructional league. Kids will continue to develop skills, advancing from T-Ball to coach pitch.

T-Ball Division (4-6-years old)

T-Ball is an instructional league that introduces the game. Kids will develop skills, and have fun.
