Fall Season Overview
The fall season is designed as an instructional program, featuring a schedule of six games or clinics. All rules and regulations are set by District 19 Little League, not MWLL.
Schedule
  • Games & Clinics: Primarily held on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
  • Season Dates: September 6th through October 11th, including Columbus Day weekend.
  • Rainouts: Rescheduled for Sundays when possible; alternate days may be used if needed due to field or weather constraints.
  • Final Schedules: Will be distributed the first week of September.
  • Practice Times: Determined by each volunteer coach’s availability.
Understanding “Little League Age”
“Little League age” is the official age used to determine player eligibility and division placement, ensuring fair and safe competition.
Sport
Age Determination Cutoff
Example
Baseball
Age as of August 31 (current year)
If a child turns 9 on September 1, their Little League age for baseball is 8, since they were 8 on August 31.
Softball
Age as of December 31 (previous year)
This system means a player's Little League age may differ from their actual age at registration, based on these cutoff dates.
