Little League Program Information

Registration Essentials

  • Register Early: All spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Register as soon as possible to avoid late fees or being placed on a waitlist.

  • Waitlist Policy: Placement from the waitlist is not guaranteed.

  • Program Capacity: Programs may close at any time if they reach maximum capacity or due to a limited number of volunteers.

  • Timely Enrollment: Registering early helps the league plan for team formation, training clinics, and purchasing uniforms and equipment.

  • Payment: Payment is accepted online by credit card only.

  • New Users: First-time users must create an account profile for their family and for each player.



Eligibility and Required Documents


  • Ages: Programs are for children who are 'Little League' ages 4 through 16. You can Confirm your child's Little League age here.

  • Eligibility Rule: Your child must either live within The Monroe Woodbury School District boundaries OR attend a school located inside the local league’s boundaries.

  • Required Documents (Due at Registration):

    • A completed medical release form.

    • Proof of Age (copy of your child's birth certificate).

    • Proof of Residency within the MWSD (school tax bill, school enrollment form, or property lease).

  • Participation: Failure to provide the required documents will prohibit participation and team placement.



Commitment and Volunteering


  • Volunteer Coaches Needed: Little League is a 100% volunteer-based program. Parents are needed to coach to make the programs possible—please sign up to be a coach during registration.

  • Commitment: Please do not overextend your child. If they are enrolled in too many other activities, they may be unable to commit, which negatively impacts their team.

  • Team Placement: Final team placement depends on overall enrollment, roster vacancies, and the availability of volunteers.



Season Details


  • Spring Season: Typically runs from late April through June, once fields are officially open (weather permitting).

  • Field Access/Cancellations: Opening day, field access, rainouts, and cancellations are determined by each town, based on weather and field safety conditions.

  • Practice Schedules: Schedules are set by each volunteer coach based on their personal schedule and overall field availability.

  • All-Star Eligibility: Players are required to meet a minimum participation requirement for All-Star Tournament Eligibility.

  • Refund Policy: All fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and no credits are issued for any reason.
