Registration Policies and FAQ'S

Players / Parents / Coaches,

Please read through our registration policies for the 2024 season.  West Salem Little League is striving to make your registration as easy as possible.  Please remember, you will need to fill out our Medical Release form for each player, and submit it before any child will be allowed to start practicing. You will find the Medical Release on our "Forms" tab. Without this completed, your child will not be allowed to participate in WSLL.

Registration Fees for Spring Baseball / Softball Programs:

* Uniform Shirt cost will be additional and ordered via link sent out after registration ends. WSLL will provide a Hat/Visor.



LATE REGISTRATION POLICY

WSLL will allow players to register until March 5th, 2024. 

** $50 late fee added for any registrations after February 29th at 11:59 PM.


FAQ:


1. I don't want to pay online or don't have a debit/credit card?
    WSLL allows those who don't have debit/credit card to mail us a check:  No later than March 11, 2024.

2. Do you offer financial assistance?
    Yes, WSLL offers financial assistance to those in need.  Please contact [email protected].

3. When do practices start?
    Practice usually starts after April 1st. The practice schedule is determined by each coach and division.

4. What gear do I need for West Salem Little League Baseball / Softball?
    West Salem Little League will provide each player with a Hat/Visor and Uniform Shirt. Each player is responsible for providing their own     glove, pants, shoes, bat, and helmet. WSLL will provide each team with a helmet and bat. We discourage the shared use of helmets due to   history of the helmet and cleanliness issues.





Coach Requests:

West Salem Little League will try to accommodate coach/player requests to the best of our ability for T-Ball and the AA Divisions.
Please keep in mind that requests are NOT guaranteed.

Parents that are coaching/managing will automatically have their child on their team regardless of division. 

If you have two (or more) players who are family members by marriage or adoption that will play in the same division, please list the sibling’s name in the “Player Request” option when registering each of them.

 

  • REFUNDS:

  • Uniforms are always NON REFUNDABLE. If a player quits or decides they no longer wish to play after the date that uniforms are ordered the refund will be less the cost of the uniform. The players keep their uniforms. If the players or parents decide they do not wish to keep the uniforms, that is at their discretion and the uniform will become the property of WSLL and considered a donation. Money will still NOT refunded back to the Parent/Guardian for the uniform. 

  • Full Refunds are available only before Tryouts. Any refunds requested after Tryouts will only be 50% of the registration price.
