Batting Cages
As everyone is fully aware that our batting cages have been closed due to our continued park upgrade initiative. Currently we are reconstructing our batting cage located near the board room. this renovation will increase our cage numbers from 4 to 6 cages thus providing more teams the opportunity to warm up their batters. We hope to have this project finished within the next week baring weather or high priority issues that may arise. The cages between field 3 and 7 will be renovated and new netting will be installed. This project should have a shorter completion period. We will provide a more accurate completion date once renovations have been started.
We are investing a lot of money and man-hours on these projects. Our SKSA facility maintenance team has been working hard to finish these projects. Therefore, these cages are for batting practice only and not a play area for those not on a team or engaged in batting practice. We ask that parents do not allow there children to play in or climb on these cages. If this issue continues it could result in parents being asked to leave the ball park. This is a necessary action to prevent injuries or accidents that may occur. The safety of all patrons is our top priority. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
