Spring Klein Sports Association, Inc will hold it’s annual
election for the board of directors from May 15-22. The Election will be
held online administered by ElectionBuddy.com
The following positions are up for election in 2019

SKSA VP of Finance - OPEN
A change in the Bylaws of Spring Klein Sports Association is
being placed before the membership
Change to Section 4.3 Regular Meetings. Change
“Such regular meetings shall be held on at least a bi-monthly basis, and may be
held more frequently” Change to read “Such regular meetings shall be held
at least Quarterly, and may be held more frequently”.
Positions:
Secretary. The Secretary shall keep the minutes of the
meetings of the Members and of the Board of Directors in one or more books
provided for that purpose; see that all notices are duly given in accordance
with the provisions of these Bylaws or as required by law; be custodian of the
Associations’ records; keep a register of the post office address of each
Member which shall be furnished to the Secretary by such Member; be generally
responsible for publicity for the Association and its sports programs; and in
general perform all duties incident to the office of secretary and such other
duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or her by the President or
by the Board of Directors
Baseball President. The Baseball President shall be
generally responsible for the overall operation of his or her sports division
and shall perform such other duties as determined by the Board of
Directors. Such President shall appoint and retain, subject to
confirmation by the Board of Directors of the Association, an executive board
of coordinators consisting of not less than 4 persons nor more than 8 persons
(not counting the President who shall also serve on such executive board) who
shall assist the President as determined within his or her discretion.
The President shall preside over meetings of any executive board of
coordinators of their respective divisions of the Association.
Vice President – Finance. The Vice President – Finance shall
also be designated as the Treasurer of the Association and shall be generally
responsible for the finances of the Association and other duties as determined
by the Board of Directors. If required by the Board of Directors, the
Treasurer shall give a bond for the faithful discharge of his or her other
duties in such sum and with such surety or sureties as the Board of Directors
shall determine. The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be
responsible for all funds and securities of the Association; receive and give
receipts for monies due and payable to the Association from any source
whatsoever, and deposit all such monies in the name of the Association in such
banks, trust companies or other depositories as shall be selected by the Board
of Directors; and, in general, perform all the duties incident to the office of
treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him or
her by the President or by the Board of Directors.
Qualifications for nominees to the Board of Directors.
Each Director must be a Member of the Association and, except for the
Vice President-Legal, the Vice President-Finance and Vice President-Softball,
shall have previously served as a member of the general board of one of the
operating divisions of the Association. The Vice President – Finance
shall have an accounting or finance degree from an accredited college or
university, or must currently work or have had previous work experience in an
accounting or financial management/advisory potion.
