Important Information regarding Coronavirus

We, as I am sure all of you, have been tracking the news regarding the Coronavirus and measures that various entities have put in place to reduce it’s spread.  Spring Klein Sports Association has made the decision to delay the beginning of the Youth Baseball Season until MARCH 23RD.  The board will meet again on March 20th and reassess the situation to see if a further delay is necessary.  The health and safety of our participants and fans is of our upmost concern.

During this time, our staff will be disinfecting all public areas our parks.  Our staff has created a plan which we feel will meet the ongoing needs of the public once we resume play.

As a part of this action, beginning Friday March 13 we will be closing Rothwood until Monday, March 23rd.  The facility will not be open for any public use during that time including games, field rentals or individual parents wishing to get extra practice in with their child.  Klein Park as a county facility is under the control of Harris County Pct. 4 and will be open at their discretion, HOWEVER, SKSA will not schedule ANY events for Klein Park during this time including practices and games.  As a rule, Harris County requires that anyone wishing to use Klein Park receive permission from the leaseholder, which is SKSA and we will not grant permission prior to March 23rd.

Games scheduled for next week will be rescheduled for the end of the season and the schedule will be updated in the near future.
