Denyel Decker, 'Tornadoes'
Softball has always been a part of my life. I started playing softball early in elementary school all the way up through high school. In college, I played intramural softball, and even today I continue to play on two women’s slow pitch teams. This is my first year coaching softball, but I have been coaching other sports for a few years. I look forward to teaching the girls about the basic skills of the game as well as good sportsmanship and having fun no matter what the score. Softball has always been my favorite sport, and I can’t wait to coach the sport I love to the youngsters! Outside of coaching, I enjoy being with my family. I currently reside in Selinsgrove with my husband, Erick, and our two children, Brinley and Nick.

I have been playing softball for 13-ish years (since I was 6). I started my career on the very fields I will be coaching on. I am so excited for this opportunity because town ball has had such a huge impact on me. I decided not to go to college to continue my softball career but I couldn’t leave the game. I play slow pitch and have one year left playing on a travel team. When I am not on the field, I am usually working at Wilson Orthodontics as a dental assistant.
