2021 FCABSA BASEBALL ALL-STAR TEAMS
*FCABSA will field All-Star teams at the following ages: 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U.
*All Star teams traditionally play in tournaments from June-July, but will also train throughout the offseason and may play in spring or fall leagues depending on the age group.
*All-Star Selection process will take place via try-outs. Only residents of FCASD are eligible to play on FCABSA teams.
*Players trying out for any FCABSA All-Star Team MUST play in either a spring or fall rec season to be eligible.
*Eligible players may be rostered on one All Star team only. There will be no double rostering across multiple age groups.
2021 TRYOUT DATES:
October 3-4 at Emmerling Park
7U-9U – October 3 (Times TBD)
10U-11U -- October 4 (Times TBD)
TRYOUT INFORMATION
Each player will receive a rating (scores are based on evaluating various baseball skills including hitting, fielding, throwing, running, pitching & catching, etc.) based on their performance at the try-out. Players MUST attend the try-out to be selected for the All Star team. FCABSA age level directors and coaches will serve as evaluators.
Registration & Tryout Fee: There will be a try-out fee of $100 per player. Each player must register to try out on the FCABSA website and pay the fee at time of registration. No player will be allowed to try-out unless they are registered on the website.
If a player is not selected to one of our All Star teams, the tryout payment will be refunded in full. After the teams are finalized, the try-out fees will be provided to the player's team to begin to pay for uniforms and tournaments. Please note the cost of uniforms and tournaments for the all-star season will exceed $100 per player. Each coach will reach out to the players to provide them the additional costs once the tournament schedule has been finalized. Each family is expected to pay the coach promptly. If a player has unpaid fees, the coach reserves the right to have the player miss a game(s) or removed from the team.
If your family has any financial hardships, please reach out to the board so arrangements can be made with the league.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The All-Star teams selected and formed during the Fall try-outs will stay “active” until subsequent All-Star tryouts in the fall of the following year. This enables our teams to play together in various fall and/or spring leagues, tournaments, etc. without roster disruption.
