West Salem Little League will be hosting Baseball Tryouts for the 2024 Spring Season. 

2024 Tryout/Evaluation Information

March 9th, 2024 @ West Salem High School Football Field

AAA BASEBALL
8:30 AM Check-In
9:00 AM Tryout Starts

MAJORS BASEBALL
10:30 AM Check-In
11:00 AM Tryout Starts


***Due to the lower number of registrations, we WILL NOT be holding a tryout for the following divisions, there are enough players respectfully within each division to create a single team:

AAA Softball
Majors Softball

50/70 Baseball
Junior Baseball



This year, we are only offering one day for Tryouts.  This is because of increased rental fees at the High School and available volunteers.

We are aware of several out-of-town Basketball Tournaments taking place during this time. If your player cannot attend tryouts, he/she will still be drafted to a team within the division you signed up for. 

Please show up on time to get checked in for Tryouts. We will begin promptly at each indicated start time shown below. Ensure your player is dressed for the weather and has all necessary equipment with them. WSLL will have a limited supply of bats and helmets available for use.

A signed Medical Release must be on file in order for your player to attend tryouts. This should have been uploaded during registration.


*Tball and AA Divisions DO NOT tryout. Players will not be cut from the league during tryouts. Tryouts are simply player evaluations to help coaches within a division see skill levels of players*
