About
Little League baseball & softball season begins in April and runs through June. Registration begins in January and runs through March. Our teams compete against other teams in the surrounding Intermountain area including Burney, Modoc & Mt. Shasta. Little League baseball and softball are also available in Burney and in Big Valley, but are not run through IMYS (Intermountain Youth Sports) -- if interested, please contact us and we can direct you appropriately.
Age Requirements for Little League (Baseball & Softball)- T-Ball (Coed): 4-5 yrs (4 by August 31st of the current season)
- Coach Pitch (Coed): 6-7 yrs
- Intermediate (Coed)*: 8 yrs
- Minors: 9-10 yrs
- Majors: 11-12 yrs
- Juniors: 13-14 yrs (includes young 15 yrs)
*Intermediate division: This division has been created to help our kids ready for Minors. There is a big gap between Coach Pitch and Minors so we’re trying to help the kids learn the rules and progress more so they are ready for the next level.
Registration (January 20th - March 15th)

- For help registering, refer to our registration instructions, or attend our Skills Evaluation on March 15th (time TBA) for in-person help.
- Registration fees:
- T-Ball, Coach Pitch & Intermediate divisions: $50/player
- Minors, Majors & Junior divisions: $60/player
- LATE REGISTRATION: March 1st - March 15th: $10 extra
2025 Season Dates- January 20th-March 1st: Regular registration
- March 1st - March 15th (midnight): Late registration ($10 extra)
- March 15th: Skills Evaluation Day (required for all players). Schedule: 10am: 6yrs - 7yrs; 11am: 8yrs - 10 yrs; 12pm: 11 yrs - 12 yrs; 1pm: 13 yrs - 14yrs. Location: Jennifer Skuce Pavilion @ the Intermountain Fairgrounds.
- March 15th: Equipment Swap during Skills Evaluation - also in the pavilion.
- Opening Day: April 26th
- Last game TBA -- typically the beginning/middle of June
