About
Little League baseball & softball season begins in April and runs through the beginning of June. Registration begins in February and runs through the beginning of March. Our teams compete against other teams in the surrounding Intermountain area including Burney, Modoc & Mt. Shasta. Little League baseball and softball are also available in Burney and in Big Valley, but are not run through IMYS (Intermountain Youth Sports) -- if interested, please contact us and we can direct you appropriately.
Age Requirements for Little League (Baseball & Softball)- T-Ball (Coed): 4-5 yrs (4 by August 31st of the current season)
- Coach Pitch (Coed): 6-7 yrs
- Intermediate (Coed)*: 8 yrs (NEW for 2024!)
- Minors: 9-10 yrs
- Majors: 11-12 yrs
- Juniors: 13-14 yrs (includes young 15 yrs)
*Intermediate division: New for 2024. This division has been created to help our kids ready for Minors. There is a big gap between Coach Pitch and Minors so we’re trying to help the kids learn the rules and progress more so they are ready for the next level. - Feb 5th-March 10th: Registration
- March 4th - March 10th: Late Registration ($10 extra)
- March 9th: Skills Evaluation Day (required for all players). See schedule above.
- March 9th: Equipment Swap during Skills Day. See schedule above.
- April 13th: Opening Day
- Last game TBA -- typically the beginning of June
