About
The IMYS Youth Wrestling season runs from December until March, with registration opening in October. Kids ages 5 through 14 are eligible. All youth in the Intermountain Area (Fall River, Burney, Big Valley) can join.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in joining Burney youth wrestling, please contact us at [email protected], and we can direct you appropriately. If you live in Burney, you can join IMYS wrestling, but you also have the option of joining the Burney team. The information below ONLY applies to IMYS youth wrestling.

Registration Dates: 

• October 12th, 2025 - December 31st, 2025

Registration Fees:

• $35/child. Note that this does not include tournament entry fees, which range from $10-$15 per child per tournament.

Age Requirements:

• 5-14 years old (boys & girls). Child must be 5 by January 1st, 2026.

Mandatory Club Meeting + In-Person Registration Help:

• Tuesday, December 2nd @ 6pm at the Fairgrounds (Ingram Hall).

Practices:

• Practices will be at the Intermountain Fairgrounds (Ingram Hall), beginning the second week of December.

Tournaments:

• Valley Tournaments: Beginning  in January. Dates TBD.
• Mountain (local) Tournaments (during the month of March - dates TBD):
  • Modoc
  • Lakeview
  • Chester
  • Fall River

AAU Card Requirement
Please note that an AAU card is REQUIRED for all players and coaches who participate in IMYS youth wrestling. An AAU card MUST be purchased ($22) for your child on or after September 1st, 2025 (for the 2025/2026 season) - before your child can begin practicing. AAU cards are valid for IMYS soccer, golf, basketball and wrestling during the 2025-2026 season. Proof of an AAU card will be required before a player or coach can participate in practices and matches. Scholarships Available!
If you are interested in applying for a scholarship for youth wresting or for any of the sports programs run through IMYS, please send an email inquiry to [email protected]. Please do this before registering your child for a sport.
