The Cave Creek Lacrosse program is focused on providing our youth with the rewarding opportunity of participating in youth sports and Lacrosse in particular.  Our direction for Lacrosse is to promote the recreational value of lacrosse while emphasizing fun and respect for the sport.  We are proud to introduce the sport of Lacrosse to our community. Lacrosse is currently the fastest youth sport in the United States and we are excited to be part of the action.

We started lacrosse in the Fall of 2013 by running clinics for boys and girls in grades 3-5 in the North Phoenix Area. 

In January of 2014, we launched the Desert Foothills Lacrosse Academy, running 3 Phases ending on March 29, 2014. 

In April of 2014, we launched our Spring League.  Skills training sessions were held during the week, and small-sided recreational games were played on Saturday afternoons ending in May. 

Our Cave Creek Winter/Spring Lacrosse program (formerly Desert Elite) started in 2015, when competitive teams formed for the first time and played games and tournaments in January, February and March.

In 2017, we helped launch the Cactus Shadows High School lacrosse program, still a "club" sport.  Our younger teams are proud to feed up to the CSHS lacrosse program.

In the Fall 2019, the boys joined the Arizona Elite Box League with games at Arizona Sports Complex. Fall is a great time for new players to experience the sport and prepare for regular season and tournament play, with the boys playing "Box" and the girls participating in fall tournaments.

The Winter/Spring Season kicks off in December/January and ends in April.  Boys and Girls teams will have 30+ practices and play 15 - 25 games each.  Boys teams will play in the AYL (Arizona Youth Lacrosse) and enter the Lax 4 Life tournament in December, girls teams play in the AGYL league.

The future of Cave Creek Lacrosse?  In the coming seasons, we expect to add younger kids, starting in kindergarten. We envision full recreational leagues for all levels, and competitive club teams competing in local competitive leagues and tournaments in Arizona and neighboring states.  We plan to grow the sport of Lacrosse in the North Scottsdale/Cave Creek area and help to make it accessible to anyone who wants to participate.
