With the continued impact of the COVID pandemic, we understand that there are still concerns about how our spring 2022 season will be conducted and how any impacts from the pandemic might impact the season. Brighton Cal Ripken Baseball follows all recommendations and guidelines of the Salt Lake County Health Department and any Public Health Orders issued by them or the State Legislation. What are the current safety protocols of the Brighton Cal Ripken Baseball during games and practices?
We ask everyone to please use their own discretion regarding masks and social distancing while at games and practices. If you would like your child to continue wearing a mask, that is great and we encourage that.
What is the season is postponed or cancelled? Will there be any refunds offered?
In the event that we need to postpone the season, we will evaluate the opportunity for us to re-start the season based on the available dates that we still have to get our season complete. We may need to shift some games and days that we play, or even shorten the season if necessary. In the event that we need to cancel the season, we will offer some refunds depending on the where in the season we are currently. This is dependent on the expenses that have been inquired to date like purchasing uniforms, equipment, etc.
What refund can I expect if the season is cancelled?
If the season is cancelled before assessments/draft (March 5), we will offer a 90% refund. After this date and before games start (April 11), we will offer a 50% refund. Once games start, we will not be able to offer any refunds as most of our expenses have already been incurred by this point. Any refunds will be issued to the card or other form of payment that was used during registration. All refunds must be requested/processed within 90 days of the date refunds are determined to be offered.
