Coach Pitch Rules            4-6 Year Old's

• • TIME LIMIT –forty five minutes (0:45) or two times through the line-up

  • NO LEAD OFFS or STEALING ALLOWED

  • Coaches can pitch underhand or overhand whichever provides the player with the best opportunity to hit the ball. 

  • Teaching will take place during games as coaches and assistant coaches may be on the field assisting both offense and defense

  • Offensive coach pitches to his own players

  • After 3 missed pitches batter will hit off a tee. 

  • Defensive coaches can be in the field to help provide guidance to his team on defense.

  • Defensive Alignment will include an “Infield” and an “Outfield”

  • Teams will switch offense and defense when the entire team has had one time at bat - no matter how many outs there are.

  • All bats must bear the USA stamp.

  • There will not be paid umpires so coaches on both teams call the game together.  Remember this is an instructional league and it is for the kids!
