Hello Aviation Little League Families,
Aviation Little League will follow the Public Health Order requirements for outdoor sports updated 9/27/2021, or the latest version. Weekly testing is required for all un-vaccinated players; the cost of testing is the responsibility of the players/parents. This includes testing of vaccinated players or staff, if they are exposed to any player or staff who tests positive during the season.
FOR EVERYONE
- While at the field everyone is encouraged to wear face masks.
- Maintain social distancing of 6 feet at a minimum and 20 feet from any group at the field, unless you have been designated to assist the Coach
- If your child has any of the following symptom, please keep them at home and do not bring them to the field until they have been symptom free for 24 hours:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Congestion or Runny Nose
- Shortness of Breath
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Sore Throat
- Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- If you have come in contact with anyone who tested positive for covid in the last 14 days do not come to the field
PLAYER HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL
- Players sit 6 feet apart anywhere on the field or at the batting cages. Extra seating has been added where needed.
- Safety protocols will include:
- Using hand sanitizer or washing with soap upon entering the field.
- Wearing a face mask is encouraged at all times.
- Not sharing any equipment
- At minimum players should come to the field with their own glove, bat and batting helmet
- It is preferred that all players planning to play or learn the position of catcher bring his/her own catcher gear
- No eating, chewing gum or spitting in the dugout or cages.
- No handshakes, high fives, fist bumps or any other personal contact will be allowed between players/coaches.
MANAGER/COACH HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL
- Managers and Coaches will wear facemasks at all times.
- Managers and Coaches will follow social distancing guidelines
VOLUNTEER/SPECTATOR SAFETY PROTOCOL
- Everyone over the age of 2 is encouraged to wear a face covering at Aviation
- Spectators should practice social distancing of at least 6 feet from anyone not in their immediate family/household while watching.
- Spectators should maintain a distance of at least 20 feet from area with activity (i.e., field, cages and entrance).
- Spectators should bring their own seating for watching games or practices.
- Field prep and break down will be handled by the coaches and assistants only.
