Ages:
- 13-14 - Jr. Baseball
- 13-16 - Sr. Baseball
Players ages 13 and 14 are eligible for Sr. League Baseball.
About This Level:
- The Jr. and Sr. league level is played on the large field (90' base paths).
- Players are more developed both in gameplay and physical size.
- These levels typically have fewer turnout than Little Leagues.
Schedule:
- Games: will be posted on our calendar and sent to you via your Coach
- Practices: set by the Coaches
- The League attempts to avoid Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday practice or game play
What they need:
- Batting helmet (face protection recommended)
- Glove
- Cleats (metal cleats are allowed)
What to Expect:
- For Jr. League age players (13-14) this is the first introduction to the large field. Pitching and baserunner are influenced by increased distances. Pitching velocities will increase as player development increases (60-80mph)
- Games will be played on a travel basis within local leagues of our area. There is not enough players to support multiple teams so traveling to other leagues will be required.
Rules:
- The gameplay rules are more traditional baseball rules with leadoffs and balks being called.
