CYFFA offers four divisions to develop youth for Flag Football. Please read through the divisions and choose the one that is best for you. If you need help please email or call us using the details on the bottom of the page. You can also watch this video on how to register with CYFFA.
This is our starting division designed to introduce players into the game of Flag Football. This fun paced program is all about ball movement and field awareness. Played on a smaller designed field allows the players, coaches and referees to engage the entire game.
| Play development and the long snap becomes important in Bantam. This program is great for progressing into play design and field tactics. Down markers are introduced in this division and its all about ball movement. The field size increases adding zone work to the game. | Players in the Juniors division really open up to the technical details of the sport. Plays are very advanced, field tactics become dynamic and individual position execution is key. Juniors is an exciting division, played on an increased field size from Bantam and deeper zone management. | Played on our largest field and filled with audibles, options, motions, and all things flag football are in these games. This is an extremely fun division with amazing play action.
| NEW in the Fall 2023 Season, CYFFA is offering a Middle School ALL-GIRLS flag football division. California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has approved Flag Football as an official high school sport for girls in the upcoming 2023-24 school year. We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for athletes to learn the rules of the game and prepare for high school level competition. |
