SOUTH LITTLE LEAGUE Winston-Salem, NC

T-Ball

For Boys and Girls ages 4-6 years old. If your child is within this age range and has never played baseball before, they must play at least one season of Tee Ball before playing Machine Pitch. The goal of Tee Ball is to introduce beginner level players to the game of baseball. Every player will bat each inning and all players will play in the field each inning as well. No score will be kept for games. We want to use Tee Ball to set a good foundation and provide a fun atmosphere for the kids so they will have a continued interest in baseball and set them up for the more competitive and advanced divisions in the future.

Machine Pitch-

For boys and girls ages 7 to 8 years old's. However. The goal of our machine pitch program is to help young players transition from tee-ball into a more advanced program where they'll start to refine their hitting, fielding, throwing, and strategic skills, while also learning the rules of the game of baseball

Minor Baseball

For boys and girls ages 9 to 10 years olds. The goal of our kid pitch program is to help young players transition from hitting off a machine to player pitch. In this more advanced program they'll start to refine their hitting, fielding, throwing, and strategic skills, while also learning the advanced rules of the game of baseball.

Major Baseball...

Ages 11-12: This division is for players who have advanced by age and/or ability beyond minors kid pitch. Kids pitch in this division, with a 60-foot diamond and 46 feet pitching distance.

Junior/Senior Baseball

The Senior League Baseball division is for boys and girls 13-16 years old, using a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches.
