2024-2025 SAEBA Travel Basketball Tryout Schedule
***Tryouts held at Shaler Area Middle School Gym A (1800 Mt. Royal Blvd. Glenshaw, PA 15116)***
Below are the tryouts dates and times for the 2024-2025 SAEBA Travel Program. The SAEBA will be looking to field two teams (A/B) at each grade level for the 2024-2025 season (numbers permitting).
If your child is interested in trying out to make a team, they must attend the appropriate tryouts listed below. Note: There will be one make up tryout on Thursday October 17, 2024. There will be no other make-ups beyond that date.
Sunday October 13, 2024
3rd Grade Boys - 9:00 am - 10:30 am (Arrive by 8:45 pm)
4th Grade Boys - 10:30 am - 12:00 pm (Arrive by 10:15 am)
5th Grade Boys - 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm (Arrive by 11:45 am)
6th Grade Boys - 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (Arrive by 1:15 pm)

3rd Grade Girls - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (Arrive by 5:45pm)
6th Grade Girls - 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm (Arrive by 7:15 pm)

4th Grade Girls - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (Arrive by 5:45 pm)

Thursday October 17, 2024 - TRYOUT MAKE UP
MAKE UP FOR ANY 3rd/4th/5th/6th Grade Girl - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm (Arrive by 5:45 pm)
MAKE UP FOR ANY 3rd/4th/5th/6th Grade Boy - 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm (Arrive by 7:15 pm)
Following the tryout, the travel teams will be created and players who make a team will be notified by email.
If your child makes a travel team, you will receive an acceptance email. You will need to accept your child’s placement on the team and remit the Travel fee of $220. Acceptance and payment must be made by Wednesday October 24 by midnight. The first Travel team practices will begin on Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27.
If your child does not make a travel team, your child will be automatically moved to the In-House program, where you can decide to accept that placement or not. If you accept that placement, you will make payment at the In-House registration rate of $125 by Sunday October 28 at midnight. The In-House season starts on Saturday November 3rd and Sunday November 4th.
