YSL Parents (Little Kickers - U8)-
Welcome to the world of soccer! The passion runs wild after your child has played their first game or attended their first practice!
The YSL strives to provide children the fundamentals to assist them in learning about the game of soccer, proper touches on the ball, learning a skill, practicing that skill and incorporating that in to game/pressure situations to give your player an open door into the world of soccer. Coaches are provided with practice plans through the US Youth Soccer Association to make sure players at each age level are learning proper skills and ball handling to keep them challenged and growing in the beautiful game that we know as soccer.
Below you will find links to assist parents in better understanding the game of soccer and also to let parents know that they also play a big part in each game your player partakes in. Also, how you as a parent, can properly play your part of the team as your child grows all the way up from YSL, to competitive, high school and even college!
