FREDERICKSBURG LITTLE LEAGUE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Our mission is to offer an affordable program for our players and families while maintaining the financial health and sustainability of our league. Fredericksburg Little League aims to allow every child who wants to play baseball or softball, the ability to do so, regardless of their financial abilities.

Payment plans are available, but if you are in need of financial assistance for your player(s), please review the guidelines and follow the steps below.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE GUIDELINES

• Financial assistance allowances are not renewed every year and will expire at the end of each season.
• Financial assistance may be requested for each child in your family who wants to participate in the coming season.
• Financial assistance applications will not be reviewed or awarded retroactively or after the Evaluations Process has been completed.
• If your child currently participates or plans to participate in any type of travel/select team or is taking private sporting lessons of any sort, they are not eligible for financial assistance.

Before applying for financial assistance, please request a Grant from T-Mobile by clicking the below link and filling out an application. If funds for the current year have already been distributed, you may still qualify to receive funds next season.

Financial assistance funds are limited. To qualify, applicants must provide the following eligibility requirements:

1. Provide proof of residency (ex: driver’s license, utility bill, vehicle registration, etc.).

2. Provide proof of participation in at least ONE of the following:

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

If your player is under the legal responsibility of a Foster Care agency or court, please provide a brief verification letter from the applicant's caseworker or the state foster care agency.

• Write FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE in the subject line.
• Include your PLAYER'S FULL NAME in the email. 
• Attach your eligibility requirements (proof of residency, proof of participation in one of the required programs).
