Merit Scholarship Program
Overview
The Fredericksburg Little League Merit Scholarship recognizes outstanding local high school seniors who have participated in Fredericksburg Little League and demonstrated dedication and service to our community. This scholarship is awarded based on merit, leadership, and community involvement, with a focus on an applicant's experience, values, leadership qualities, future aspirations, and contributions to the community.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Fredericksburg Little League Merit Scholarship, applicants must be a current high school senior with plans to pursue higher education or vocational training, and must meet ONE of the following requirements:
Participation in Fredericksburg Little League: Played a minimum of two seasons of baseball or softball
Volunteer Experience: At least 10 hours of service to Fredericksburg Little League in roles such as concession stand work, coaching, bookkeeping, or scoreboard operations
Umpire Experience: A minimum of five games umpired with Fredericksburg Little League
