Welcome to the Rose Tree Colts Competition Cheerleading Program!

Are you ready to soar to new heights, learn impressive skills, and build lifelong friendships? The Rose Tree Colts competition cheerleading program is the perfect opportunity for young athletes aged 5–14 to experience the thrill of performance cheerleading!

Our program offers comprehensive training in advanced stunting, cheers, motions, tumbling, and dynamic dance routines, ensuring that all athletes build confidence and master the elements of a “traditional” performance cheerleading routine. From learning high-energy crowd-leading chants to executing breathtaking stunts, every athlete will develop their skills in a fun, supportive, and team-oriented environment.

Program Details

Season Dates

• The season will start in August and run through February, culminating in exciting local competitions!

Team Divisions & Practice Schedules

We are aiming to have three age-level teams this year:

• 6U Team (Ages 5–6):

   

  • Practice: 1x per week on Sunday afternoons

  • Competitions: 3–4 local events beginning in January

   

• 8U/10U Team (Ages 7–10):

   

  • Practice: 3x per week on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday

  • Competitions: 5–6 local events starting around the end of November

   

• 14U Team (Ages 11–14):

   

  • Practice: 3x per week on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday

  • Competitions: 5–6 local events starting around the end of November

   

All competitions will take place within an hour’s drive, and attendance is required at every competition to ensure team success.

What We Teach

Our cheerleaders will master:

• Advanced stunting techniques (pyramids, lifts, and transitions)

• Sharp and precise motions to enhance visual impact

• High-energy cheers and chants for crowd engagement

• Dynamic dance choreography set to exciting music

• Tumbling basics and progressions to develop acrobatic skills

• Teamwork and sportsmanship through fun and challenging practices

Competition Schedule

The finalized competition list will be shared in August/September to give families ample time to prepare.
