There is no registration fee to try out. Prices listed are only for those who are offered a roster spot and accept the spot. These are subject to change, but final prices will be known before offer letters are released and players are rostered. We anticipate this will be about the same as last year.

Tryout Process:

FM Youth Soccer Club strives to develop technically and tactically sound players in a competitive environment. We encourage hard work on and off the field and aim to foster a love for the game in every player. Teams play in local leagues and two local to regional tournaments per year. Game times and locations vary, but are primarily held on CNY area fields. Tournaments may require travel throughout the state. Practices are held one to two times per week for individual teams plus a combined skills session with the Director of Coaching.

We strive to provide quality-playing time for all players. Players are not guaranteed field position based on prior years field position, as skill and positional needs vary from team-to-team and year-to-year.

The new age process means that teams are formed based on an August 1 - July 31 age schedule for new players, rather than by birth year as in the past. However, returning players may wish to tryout for their current team. Please read this document for clarification. We understand this can be confusing. When selecting a program, please use the following guidelines:

U8 (Boys and Girls Teams)

Born August 1, 2018 - July 31, 2019

U9 (Boys and Girls Teams)

Born January 1 - July 31, 2018

or

New player (not currently on club team) born August 1 - December 31, 2017

or

Currently rostered on 2017 club team, but born August 1 - December 31, 2017 and want to move to younger team 

U10 (Boys and Girls Teams)

New player born August 1, 2016 - July 31, 2017

or 

Already rostered on 2017 club team and want to stay there

or

Currently rostered on 2016 club team, but born August 1 - December 31, 2016 and want to move to younger team 

U11 (Boys and Girls Teams)
