Playing up or down may be considered based on age, experience, and evaluations, but final placement is determined by the league.
Yes. For this season, tryouts/evaluations will be required for all baseball and softball divisions, Minor B and up. Tryouts help ensure balanced teams and appropriate player placement.
Schedules vary by division, but most teams practice 1–2 times per week with 1–2 games weekly during the season.
Players typically need a glove, bat, cleats, and water bottle. Jerseys and hats are provided by the league. Coaches will communicate to their teams which color pants and belt are required.
All softball players are required to wear a fielding mask.

NCLL is 100% volunteer-run. Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated, whether coaching, helping with concessions, or supporting events.
