Redding-Easton Football (REF) is a non-profit, age-based youth tackle football organization for athletes in Easton and Redding in the 4th-8th grades.

REF is a member of Western Connecticut Youth Football & Cheer. American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is a support services organization, dedicated to giving back to communities by promoting the wholesome development of youth through their association with exemplary adult leaders in the sport of American football and cheer. Guidelines are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of learning with a competitive balance between teams.

REF practices are held at Vet's Field in Easton behind the Easton Community Center or at Joel Barlow HS. Prior to the start of school year, practices typically run Mon-Thu in the early evening. After the school year starts, practices are held no more than three days per week. Practice times and locations are subject to change based on weather and at the coaches' discretion. Home games will be played on the turf field at Joel Barlow High School.
