Adult League Hockey
Adult League is for men and women. All players must be 18 and older, and register on our website.
Depending on availability we will have three levels of play; A League, B League, and Rec League.
A League - Players who have played a long time: high school, travel, and college.
B League - Players who enjoy a competitive atmosphere, all ages combined.
Rec League - Players new to hockey, usually played after a Learn to Play Clinic ends.
Adult League Format
20 Game Season
3, 17 Minute Periods, running clock
3 Minute Warm-Up
1 Minute Intermissions
2 Minute Penalties
No Time-Outs
Stop clock last minute, if 2 goals apart
Must play 6 games for playoff eligibilty
2 pts for a win, 1 for a shoot out loss
If the game ends in a tie, a 3 player SO will commence. If Playoff game, a full period.
Adult League Rules
Sign in on the score sheet every game, or no credit will be given
No checking - whether intentional or not, will result in a penalty
No one is allowed on the ice until the Zamboni Doors are closed. Failure to comply will result in a 4 minute penalty
Players must wear a half shield/cage
Same colored jerseys are requried
Jerseys must be numbered and match the sign in sheet
Players who receive 3 penalties in 1 game will be ejected from that game
Please Note:
Cost is $2,600 per team of 13 - 18 players, due in a lump sum the first game
Cost is $200 per player, if signing up individually
All fees non-refundable
Goalies are free, may not skate out
Each team must have 5 players and a goalie, or 6 player to start the game. If you do not have the required players, the clock will start following the 3 minute warm-up. If your team still does not have the required players after 5 minutes of play, your team forfeits.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted in Galactic Ice. All games are intended to be played in a fun and friendly environment. Any player who does not comply with league rules will be subject to disciplinary action including termination from the league.
