By becoming a volunteer, you play a key role in shaping today’s youth into tomorrow’s leaders. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, sibling, or neighbor — there’s a place for you on our team!

👥 Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone!
We welcome all community members — parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, retirees, former players, and friends of baseball.

Parents of Little Leaguers are especially encouraged to volunteer. It’s a great way to spend quality time with your child and share in their excitement on and off the field.

Note: On rare occasions, Little League may deny volunteer privileges if an individual’s history could be detrimental to the safety or positive experience of players and families. All volunteers are subject to background checks.

🏟 Manager / Head Coach

Lead your team and help players develop skills and confidence.
Requirements: Background check

⚾ Assistant Coach

Support your manager during games and practices — from running drills to helping with lineups and base coaching.
Requirements: Background check

⚖️ Umpire

Call the plays and keep the game fair. No experience needed — we’ll train you!
Requirements: Background check

👪 Team Parent

Coordinate team communications, help with forms and raffles, organize volunteers, and support your coaches.
Requirements: Background check

🧹 Field Maintenance

Help us keep fields in great shape! Tasks include dragging, prepping, and closing fields.

🏆 WLL Board Member

Board Members meet twice a month and help lead league operations.
Roles include: President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, Safety Officer, Fundraising, Sponsorship, and more.
Requirements: Background check

👏 Parent of a Player

Even if you don’t take an official role, you’re still part of the volunteer team! Encourage your child, practice together, and help keep baseball fun and positive.

📝 How Do I Sign Up?

1. Register as a volunteer in your account when registering your player and Complete the Volunteer Application.
   Include your Social Security Number (required for the Little League background check).

2. Complete your PA Background Clearances.

   • If you’ve lived in PA for 10+ years:
     ✅ PA Criminal Clearance
     ✅ PA Child Abuse Clearance
     ✅ Signed Volunteer Disclaimer

   • If you’ve lived in PA for less than 10 years:
     ✅ PA State Police Criminal Check
     ✅ PA Child Abuse Check
     ✅ FBI Fingerprint Background Checks

   • Follow directions in any Emails from our Safety Officer

Good news: Clearances are valid for 5 years!
