Volunteer Clearances

All managers (head coaches), assistant coaches or parents assisting (in dugouts or on field) must have obtained the following within the previous 60 months and provided a copy to HAA:
- Child Abuse History certification from the Department of Human Services
- Report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police

Additionally, they must affirm that they are seeking a volunteer position and are not required to obtain a certification through the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  An FBI certification is required if you have not lived within Pennsylvania for the last 10 years consecutively or meet other situations described in the standard.  Please see the affirmation during the coach registration process and/or the information in the FAQ below.

If you coached previously we have your clearances on file and will notify you when they need to be updated.  If this is your first time coaching in HAA you will need to provide them to: [email protected]
