The Bitty Girls program for grades 1 - 4 begins in early October and runs through mid-December. The program is open to children who reside or attend schools within the boundaries of St. Charles School District 303. All children meeting the above criteria, regardless of ability level, will be placed on a team.

• Season runs end of September through December, ending prior to D303's winter break.

• Grades 1 and 2 are combined. A maximum of ten players per team.

• Grades 3 and 4 could be combined depending on registration numbers.

• Teams are formed by schools attended (when possible).

• All Bitty Girls teams play 4 on 4.

• Players use a 28.5 size ball. In 1st/2nd grade, 8 foot baskets are used; in 3rd grade, 9 foot baskets are used; 4th grade uses 10 foot baskets.

• This league is instructional, with emphasis on learning.

• All practices and games will be held at D303 elementary schools or at various locations in St. Charles.

• Games will be refereed by Illinois patched referees.

• Teams are parent coached. If interested in coaching your child's team, please complete both the coach's application and background check forms. Coaches will be contacted to confirm coaching a team once both the coach's application and background check are completed.

• Background checks are required for all head and assistant coaches.

• Players will be contacted regarding team placement AFTER SEPTEMBER 20TH. Practices will begin in early October.

• Coaches will contact players with practice and game schedules after September 20th. Practice nights are Monday-Friday and selected by the coach. Games are on Saturday (9:00 AM - 5:45 PM) and/or Sunday (12 PM - 6:15 PM).

• REQUESTS FOR CARPOOLING, TEAM PLACEMENT, PRACTICE NIGHTS, FRIENDS OR COACHES CANNOT BE HONORED.
